Youth
Pastor: Arie MangrumThe teenage years are years of opportunity for parents and adolescents to serve God’s purposes in the local church and community. The teenage years are meant to be a time of cultivating biblical convictions, preparing the teen for a fruitful, dynamic, God-honoring life as an adult. These years need not be synonymous with the rebellion, independence and cynicism that is characteristic of our culture.
Parents have the principal responsibility for the biblical training and discipleship of their children during the teenage years. The parent/youth ministry of CCC is designed to support and encourage the parents in this most significant biblical duty. We provide pastoral care and counseling for parents and teens, parent training seminars, Junior and Senior High monthly meetings, service and ministry opportunities, youth activities and socials. We believe that effective parenting guides youth beyond family into commitment, membership, service, and faithful involvement in the local church.
The Parent/Youth Ministry of CCC exists to glorify and exalt God. The purpose of all our programs and activities is to see the Gospel applied in the lives of teenagers and to cultivate godly character that results in teens that worship God, live in obedience to His word, faithfully proclaim the Gospel, and serve Him with all their hearts!
